Ernest M Ballanger was born in 1908 in Maine1. He married Marian A. Martin on 7 Mar 1929 in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine2.

In 1930 Ernest M Ballanger appeared on the US Census in Bangor. He was twenty one years old, working at a laborer in a paper manufacturing office and rooming with Louise C. Davis. He gave his father’s birthplace as England and his mother’s birthplace as English Canada3.

Ten years later Ernest appears on the 1940 US Census in Bangor, he and his wife being lodgers of Odissa A Crook. He was 35 years old and his occupation was “mechanic” for a “private company”4. I have not located Ernest on a census prior to 1930.

Ernest M. Ballanger died in 19545.

Note: Ernest M Ballanger and his family’s names are on the same large family stone as George T White and his family.
