Hannah E. Fogg was born in Bangor, Penobscot County, Maine about 31 Aug 1846 to Sylvester Dow Fogg and Eliza Reed1,2. She appeared on the 1850, 1860, and 1870 US Federal Censuses in Bangor, living with her parents and siblings3,4,5.

Hannah married Eben H. Chase on 5 Jan 1876 in Bangor when she was 28 years old6,7,8. Eben died on 7 May 1878 and I cannot find any record of them having children.

I cannot find Hannah on the 1880 census, but she does show up on the 1900 census in Lewiston, Androscoggin County, Maine, working at a cotton mill, widowed, 53 years old9. I also cannot find Hannah on the 1910 US Census.

Hannah E. Fogg Chase died 6 Jun 1915 in Bangor from tuberculosis10,11.
